You will not receive any promotional or marketing communications as a result of registering for this event.
The details collected — including name, email, date of birth, and confirmation of legal age and tobacco/nicotine use status — are used exclusively to:
- Verify guest eligibility
- Confirm attendance
- Provide necessary event details (e.g., reminders, updates, or last-minute changes related to the specific event you registered for)

Your data will not be retained or reused for any future event communications beyond this single engagement.

QLAB STORE EVENT POLICY – WHISKIES OF THE WORLD

All guests attending Whiskies of the World event at the QLAB Store shall comply with and agree to the rules and terms of participation linked here.

This is a complimentary event exclusive to 19+ verified tobacco or nicotine users. Entry will not be granted to minors or non-verified guests.

EVENT OVERVIEW

Whiskies of the World is an exclusive whiskey tasting and dining experience hosted by Rothmans Benson & Hedges (RBH) and held at:

QLAB Store

Each reservation includes:

A welcome whiskey cocktail (per person)
A 3-hour guided whiskey tasting experience hosted by a renowned expert
4 curated whiskey samples (per person)
A specially crafted 4-course meal tailored to complement the whiskey varieties (per person)
An Uber voucher provided at the end of the experience (per person)

This is a complimentary event. Guests are limited to one reservation of up to two people.

REGISTRATION & ELIGIBILITY

To attend, all guests must:

Register through our online booking portal using a valid method of identification and verification
Be 19+ verified tobacco or nicotine users (LAU – Legal Age User)
Submit full name, email, date of birth, and confirm LAU status at registration
Be limited to one event registration during the entire experience run
Register a maximum of 2 guests per reservation
Acknowledge up to 26 guests are allowed per seating — limited spots available

Booking Process:

Select preferred date & time
Choose number of guests (1 or 2)
Select meal preference (meat or vegan) for each guest
Provide required personal info and complete verification
Submit reservation and receive confirmation email and QR ticket

SMS & EMAIL REMINDERS

Guests will receive SMS reminders 5 days and 48 hours before their reservation date.

Guests must reply to each SMS:

Reply 1 to confirm
Reply 9 to cancel

If you do not respond within 24 hours of any reminder, your reservation will be automatically cancelled.

ARRIVAL & CHECK-IN

Arrive 15 minutes early to ensure a smooth check-in experience
Must present government-issued photo ID and QR code confirmation
Late arrivals may not receive the full experience
Entry will be denied to guests who are not 19+ verified LAU or who fail to bring valid ID

CANCELLATION / NO SHOW POLICY

Due to limited capacity, please cancel if you’re unable to attend. This allows others the opportunity to participate.

To cancel or amend a reservation please email support@qlabtoronto.ca

No-shows or repeat cancellations without notice may be restricted from future QLAB events.

If the event must be cancelled by organizers, affected guests will be notified and may be rescheduled based on availability.

RULES AND REGULATIONS

We aim to create a safe, respectful, and enjoyable environment for all attendees. To ensure a premium experience for all guests, please observe the following:

Guests must be 19+ verified tobacco or nicotine users
All events will start promptly at the scheduled time. Guests who arrive late may not receive the full tasting experience
No minors, pets (except service animals), or unregistered guests permitted
No outside food or drinks
No smoking or vaping inside the venue
No drugs or prohibited substances allowed
No sharp objects or weapons permitted
Disruptive or intoxicated guests may be refused entry or asked to leave
Event staff reserve the right to remove guests at their discretion
Special celebrations or catering accommodations are not permitted during this event
QLAB Store is not responsible for lost or stolen belongings

ASSUMED RISK & RESPONSIBILITIES

By attending the Whiskies of the World event, guests acknowledge and accept that participation is voluntary and at their own risk. QLAB Store, RBH and its partners assume no liability for injury, loss, or incidents resulting from the attendee’s own actions, consumption, or failure to follow event protocols.

We reserve the right to refuse entry or service to any attendee displaying inappropriate behavior or posing a safety risk to others.

INJURY & MEDICAL SUPPORT

In the case of illness or injury during the event, on-site staff will coordinate emergency response and medical assistance as needed.

FOOD & BEVERAGE POLICY

All meals and beverages will be prepared and served by our approved partners in accordance with provincial health and safety guidelines.

Food:

No outside food allowed
All dishes are prepared in accordance with provincial food safety standards
Guests can choose from standard or vegan menu options during registration

Beverage:

No outside drinks permitted
All whiskey tastings and welcome cocktails will be served by trained staff in accordance with provincial alcohol regulations
Non-alcoholic beverages will be available

HEALTH & SAFETY

All food and beverage handling follows Ontario’s public health and safety regulations
Please alert event staff to any allergies or dietary concerns at time of check-in
In case of medical issues or emergencies, staff will assist in coordinating appropriate response

All guests must select a meal type (meat or vegan) during registration. Menus are curated to pair perfectly with whiskey selections and may be subject to change at any time.

GUEST EXPERIENCE

Here’s what you can expect at The QLAB Store, Whiskies of the World Event:

Arrive 15 minutes prior to your reservation time for check-in
All guests must present valid government-issued photo ID and QR code ticket to gain entry
Enjoy a welcome cocktail and then settle in for a 3-hour guided journey through whiskey with a renowned expert
A 4-course meal will be served, with whiskey pairings and expert insights along the way
At the conclusion, guests will receive an Uber voucher to help them get home safely

TRANSPORTATION

Uber vouchers will be provided at the end of the event
Public transit and parking are also available nearby

PHOTOGRAPHY AND VIDEOGRAPHY

This is a private event and photography, and videography are not permitted inside the event space
By attending the event you give permission to interview, film, photograph, tape, or otherwise be included in a video for promotional or informational reasons
